That means we will take back the rubber at the end of its life and recycle it. Most of our high end products have a 10 year guarantee but expected to last much longer, more like 15 to 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many recycling facilities in each city, including several that specialise in recycling rubber. This makes it easy for us to guarantee that any natural rubber installed this year will not end up as landfill in future years. Using recycled rubber is a way of knowing that material has been saved from landfill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-green-rubber-flooring\">Green Rubber Flooring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rubber can be recycled over and over again, making it one of the most sustainable flooring materials available. There are also a multitude of benefits \u2013 as well as benefitting the environment, rubber produced from reclaimed rubber requires less energy than virgin rubber to produce, lowering costs. Using recycled rubber also provides a way of knowing that material has been saved from landfill, resulting in a green rubber floor option that you can feel good about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another company selling rubber flooring in Australia wrongfully informs customers that the rubber can be disposed of in landfill or incinerated. What happens to their product after 10 years? As it\u2019s not recycled, many resources are wasted, negatively impacting on the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Case Study<\/strong> &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The designer for the&nbsp;<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Smart Energy House in Sydney<\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;installed DalChoc recycled rubber flooring in the kitchen, as they wanted a green rubber flooring that wouldn&#8217;t end up as landfill at the end of its life. The flooring was also made from post-consumer waste, making it an extra sustainable flooring choice.
